Inverted Georgian silver spoon ring with Sterling silver hallmarks for London 1806 which have been retained and are visible on the outer side of the ring.
Band width (underside is 3mm) and (topside is 10mm).
This ring began life in London 1806 as a teaspoon! - this ring has been handcrafted from the handle portion of the spoon.
The ring is presented in a solid wood case with leatherette interior and has the assay office details and date printed inside the case.
Accompanied by our"Origin of the Spoon Ring" history card, detailing how the silver spoon ring was traditionally used as a wedding ring in the 17th century.
Complies with current "Change of Use" regulations (Hallmarking Act 1973).
