Vintage silver spoon ring with open fretwork design, with Sterling silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1963 which have been retained and are visible on the inside of the ring.
Band width (underside is 2mm) and (topside is 20mm).
This ring began life in Sheffield 1963 as a coffee spoon! - this ring has been handcrafted from the complete spoon.
The ring is presented in a solid wood case with leatherette interior and has the assay office details and date printed inside the case.
Accompanied by our"Origin of the Spoon Ring" history card, detailing how the silver spoon ring was traditionally used as a wedding ring in the 17th century.
