Antique inverted silver spoon ring with original Victorianhallmarks for Sheffield 1895 which have been retained and are visible on the outside of the ring.
Our own sponsor's mark AA plus our Jaspersparkle logo have been applied by the assay office, alongside the historic hallmarks.
This unisex ring is available in size M N O or P(ref SP1234d).
Band width (underside is 3mm) and (topside is 15mm).
This spoon ring began life in Sheffield 1895 as a silver teaspoon! - and is made from the handle portion of the spoon.
The spoon ring is presented in a solid wood case with leatherette interior, and has the assay office details and date printed inside the case.
Accompanied by the legal "Change of Use" certificate (Hallmarking Act 1973)
plus our "Origin of the Spoon Ring" history card, detailing how the silver spoon ring was traditionally used as a wedding ring in the 17th century.
