This is a handmade Victorian Shellback silver spoon ring . The original hallmarks for Sheffield 1898 have been retained and are visible on the inside of the ring.

This spoon ring began life in Sheffield 1898 as a silver teaspoon! - and is made from the complete spoon.
The spoon ring is presented in a solid Oak wood case with leatherette interior, and has the assay office details and date printed inside the case.
It is accompanied by a laminated "Origin of the Spoon Ring" history card, detailing how the silver spoon ring was traditionally used as a wedding ring in the 17th century.
