This is a handmade Georgian Brightcut silver spoon cuff bangle, with a crested design of a gauntlet holding a key which is original to the spoon. The original hallmarks for Birmingham 1811 have been retained and are visible on the inside edge of the bangle, an amazing 207 years old!.
The cuff bangle measures 6cm in diameter, it is naturally sprung and will expand enough for the customer's hand to go through the middle. (ref SP2331).
This bangle began life in Birmingham 1811 as a silver dessert spoon!, the bangle and has been created using the complete spoon.
A lovely Birthday, Christmas, Christening, Wedding, Confirmation or any celebratory present, or a “to me from me” treat!, quite unique and snazzy, with oodles of history and a major talking point!
Handcrafted using only hand tools on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales :-)
The bangle is presented in a green antique look leatherette case, and has the assay office details and date printed inside the case.
