This is a handmade silver fish knife cuff bangle, with a simple plain design.
The historic hallmarks for Birmingham 1908 have been retained and are visible on the inside edge of the bangle. It also has a current hallmark added by the Sheffield assay office as the original date letter is worn and not clearly visible (ref SP1825b).
This bangle began life in Birmingham 1908 as a silver fish knife, this bangle has been handcrafted using the complete knife.
A lovely Birthday, Christmas, Christening, Wedding, Confirmation or any celebratory present, or a “to me from me” treat!, quite unique and snazzy, with oodles of history and a major talking point!
The diameter of this bangle is 6.75cm, the bangle is easily adjusted to allow the hand to go through, and shaped to an oval to fit the wrist comfortably.
Handcrafted using only hand tools on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales :-)
The bangle is presented in a Green antique style leatherette case, and has the assay office details and date printed on the inside the case.
