This is a handmade inverted silver "Manners" fork bangle. The original huge hallmarks for Sheffield 1973 have been retained and are visible on the outside edge of the bangle (ref SP2981).
This Pickle Fork is an exact copy of the oldest English silver table fork. The "Manners" fork originally the property of the Rutland family of Haddon Hall was hall marked in London in the year 1632, and is now in the possession of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
This bangle has been handcrafted using the complete fork.

The current diameter of this bangle is 7cm, slip the hand through the centre, the bangle will allow for adjustment by the customer.
Handcrafted using only hand tools on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales :-)
The bangle is presented in an oak wood case, and has the assay office details and date printed on the inside the case, and includes the "History of the "Manners Pickle Fork"" card.
